No. We do a purchase evaluation: we look at your items so we can make an offer to buy them. A purchase evaluation is not a formal written appraisal for insurance, probate or tax purposes.
Is everything I bring worth selling?
Not always. Some coins are worth only their face value, and we will tell you so plainly. You decide what to sell and what to keep.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, every visit is by appointment. Our hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, by appointment. Please call or send a request, and we will arrange a time with you.
Can you come to me?
Yes. As well as our Lowell shop, we are glad to meet at your home or at a secure location such as your bank. Let us know which you prefer when we talk.
What should I bring?
A photo ID, the items you would like to sell, and any holders, boxes, certificates or paperwork that came with them. You are welcome to ask how payment works when you book.

Should I clean my coins before I bring them?
No. Cleaning can lower a coin's collector value and cannot be undone. Bring coins as they are, in the holders they are in now.
